Pernod Ricard is a French wine and spirits group and the world's second-largest producer and distributor of premium spirits, formed in 1975 through the merger of the anise-aperitif rivals Pernod and Ricard. Its portfolio spans roughly 240 premium-to-luxury brands including Absolut vodka, Jameson Irish whiskey, Chivas Regal, Ballantine's, The Glenlivet, Martell cognac, Havana Club rum, Beefeater gin and the Mumm and Perrier-Jouet champagnes. The group employs around 18,500 people, operates its own salesforce in 73 countries and distributes to more than 160 markets from its Paris headquarters, 'The Island'. It is listed on Euronext Paris (RI) and is a CAC 40 constituent.
